DASCOM LAUNCHES NETWORK MONITORING SERVICES TO ENHANCE END-TO-END IPTV SOLUTION

New support offering by leading IPTV integrator answers customer needs providing proactive support, alerts and notifications on IPTV system from new remote network operations center

 

TelcoTV Conference Booth #345- Las Vegas, NV., — Dascom Systems Group, LLC, the leading integrator of digital headends with 150 telecommunications customers since 1998, has announced the addition of Network Monitoring Service (NMS) to their service offerings from the Dascom Network Operations Center (NOC), for an enhanced end-to-end IPTV solution.

Since the origination of IPTV as a product, operators  have struggled supporting the additional service with existing  staff. Dascom has responded by expanding their support structure beyond the integration of IPTV headends to proactively monitor  and maintain customers’ infrastructure. The offering improves support as it alerts Dascom technical staff of potential service-impacting issues and provides for remote remediation. This allows service providers to continue delivering  quality service  without having to hire and train additional operational staff. The Dascom NMS is built for 24/7/365 full-time operation for mission-critical responsibilities. The NMS is managed by Dascom technical personnel with a support schedule tailored to each customer’s requirements and equipment. The system incorporates experienced professionals in all facets of IPTV to respond to these alarms and quickly begin troubleshooting the errors.

Within the Dascom NOC, the following NMS features standout:
