SYSTEM PLANNING
There are several important factors Dascom considers when evaluating the feasibility of offering high-speed data and video delivery services. We evaluate existing facilities; tower and rooftop mounting structures; power and HVAC requirements; network topology and capacity; and programming sources.
SYSTEM STAGING & ON-SITE INTEGRATION
We stage headend systems at our headquarters in Woodbury, Minnesota, reducing on-site installation time dramatically while ensuring optimal system quality and performance. The staging process includes: assembly of equipment cabinets; rack-mounting of electronics; installation and labeling of all rack wiring, racks and electronic equipment; programming of MPEG encoders and assignment of IP addresses to them; testing of the system as a stand-alone unit.
